Thanks to JohnS for another really cracking day - great value and great fun
Thanks also to Willie Ball from Track Day Car Hire for trusting us as your inaugural customers - excellent !
Only one off which resulted in Charlie and Craig being absolutely clarted in mud - hilarious !
Thankfully no damage to the car. If you'll have us, we'll be back.
Some pics.

Numptie,
Looks like fun? How did the Westy do on the track compared to the other cars running, and how was the gearing with the +/- 130 BHP? I have an engine upgrade planned for mine and intend to take the 1.7 cross flow out.

Jools,
I can't really comment. The set-up of this car seemes to me to be terrific. The P/W ratio is clearly what sets it apart from X-flow, zetec or equivalent aletrnatives.
In the right hands, it definately did well against Elises (faster than, say, 3 out of 5 of the regulars).
I reckon dry or wet, our PPP'd Impreza's do better with the same driver in each.
The big deal for me is the thrill (being in the open / close to the ground).
Working the sequential box is a pleasure
I'm finding it hard to put the experience in to words - prolly 'cos I've had a couple of drams
When you're back - I'll tell you all about it over a pint

I can confirm that all three drivers had a great time, and the only side effects were the permanent cheesy grin on their faces
The Megablade is booked up to take part in all our KH events this year (whether anyone hires it or not!), but I would say that if you were interested, I'd book up now.

3rd driver reporting in I had a top time and many thanks from me too to John for organising and to Willie for a great car, good organisation and giving me the tool as a Knockhill virgin to overtake everybody out there on the track (once I'd got the feel for the car)
The car was perfect, easy to drive, responsive, fast in a straight line and very confidence inspiring.
I just need to figure out how to drive an Elise in the wet now

I am looking for a couple of people to share a session with the Megablade at Knockhill. After speaking to the owner it will be about 300 in total for either 2 or 3 people. If you are interested email me at colin-maxwell AT blueyonder DOT co DOT uk
The other SIDC days are 24th May, 26th July, 13th September.
A little about me - I have owned an Impreza for 4.5 years and have done many trackdays at Knockhill during the first 3 years before stopping because it was a tad expensive.
