Car was stolen on 10th Dec, robbery in Linlithy on 20th.

 

That may have been the bank job!

IIRC, they abandoned the car on the motorway & set it ablaze.

 

I wasn't a Burgandy coloured 5 door was it ?

 

Said on the radio it was a "red subaru impreza turbo" that was used in the bank raid in Linlithgow (they not only got away with a scooby but £40,000 as well).

It was also reported that the police had to come from livingston. So it's little surprise they got away.

Hell, they even had enough time for a cup of tea before fleeing

 

John, was reported as being 'dark red', and half inched from your neck of the forest!

 

The Subaru was used as the 2nd getaway car (i.e. the one they never caught)(what would you expect though ) The car on fire was the original robbery car, reports say the Impreza was used to flee the scene of the 1st car burning on M9 (according to press reports)
