Returned to rallying
After 20 odd years away from rallying I decided to get back to it.
We bought an import WRX and built the car the period of a year.
The car was stripped back to a bare shell so we could start from the ground up.
After many a night burning the midnight oil the car looks amazing!!
Spec:
Forged Internals
Frontmount intercooler
Aeroquip hosing throughout
Compbrake 330mm discs and callipers
Compbrake bias pedal box with bias adjustment
2 pot newage rear brakes
Superpro throughout..........Very good choice!!
BC coilovers until the reigers arrive!
17" Revolution wheels
10 point roll cage with extra bars for max safety
Mapped to 280hp and 300ft lbs
We went out for our first event on the 5th November 2016 at the kingdom stages at crail. This was shakedown event for us to see how the car would get on.
The car had no problems all day and we drove the car onto the truck with no damage.
We started the rally from 94th and finished 35th overall and 17th in class......Not back for a shakedown.
Here is a wee in car video with the one and only **** twitching moment!!
Enjoy.
