I've got a PPG box in my rally car mate and I find it really good just took a bit of getting used to when downshifting as at first I kept crunching due to changing gear to slowly, I've had a 6 speed in my last sti road car and I thought it was fantastic. What you gonna be using it for? Track, Motorsport or road?

Depending on what you using it for I've heard the 6 speed is pretty much bomb proof, while I've already had to have a rebuild on the PPG

The issue with the PPG's was that the final gear was normally a standard one and not a PPG one, as you can imagine, that caused issues as it was a weak link, so unless they have resolved that I would look at the Scooby Clinic gearset which is probably a better buy.

Good choice mate. Don't get me wrong I do like the PPG but for road and track the 6 speed will be be the ideal tool for the job as it will be easier to live with driving round town.

Very good contribution to the post! I think he is looking for help on choosing a gearbox, not help with his spelling and grammar.
