Default Things to look for? Advice needed!!

As per the title thread. I'm going to view a wrx sti 04 plate and I'm just wondering what should I be looking for, is it just the usual no leaks, starts first time warms up ok holds temp and no overheating and no piston slap when warm, no crunches through the gears, no slipping clutch, no knocking from the rear shocks and the brembo's are working ok. Apart from them is there anything else? Do these suffer with rust anywhere (rear arches etc)? Want all the help I can get please people.

I'd always say any car should "go, steer and stop" well. It's about how the car feels. If it's bent, pulls to one side on driving or braking, it can be tougher to fix than a blown motor. Check the tyres for uneven wear, that sort of thing. A little tramlining can be expected on certain roads, but not all the time!
