Wheel spacers on bugeye

Default Wheel spacers on bugeye

I have standard wrx wheels on my 2002 wrx and have noticed they sit in the arches a fair bit has anyone fitted spacers to these to beef it out abit if so what size spacers pics would be nice?

Measure from the wheel to how far you want them to sit out, ie wheel to edge of arch 15mm, then buy 15mm spacers., if you want a 20mm extra width buy 20mm etc etc
Effectively changing the ET the lower the offset the more the wheel sticks out from the car.
IMO on 4wd cars you should match the front and rears so have the same size spacers all round.

I'd also only ever use hub centric spacers.
Failing that buy wider wheels or wheels with a lower ET

Cool il give that ago just want it to look a little better till I get some new wheels

Thanks mate I've ordered some 25mm hubcentric jobbies, fingers crossed they arrive in time for my wheels going back on but Im not holding my breath

Do a search mate, appreciate it's a lot but plenty of people running them or wheels with similar offset with no issues.............

Time will tell I guess

With regard to wheel bearing problems; there is no difference in running spacers compared to changing the wheels to a set with a different offset.
