Mats ? (Hawkeye)
Had a quick search but It just came back with mats for sale and not recommendations. I have a hawkeye sti and need a set of mats for it, are the OEM ones any good ? I have one hook in the drivers foot well, currently got cheapo mats fitted that don't utilise the standard fittings.

I've got these in my Hawkeye, been in the car for 4 years and seem to be holding up pretty well, they fit nicely and don't slide around.

OEM Sti type UK mats for blob and hawk are discontinued and are no longer available. But if you do find some let me know, I've spent weeks phoning Subaru dealers up and down the country lol

I had my own made up from ambassidor car mats, as above you can't get them from a dealer anymore.
My originals started to show signs of ware, so I sent them pictures of mine and they made them the same with the exact lettering and spacing, cost me £60 for the front set, which is not to bad.!

2.5 rebuild blah blah, WRX vs STI blah blah. It's so trite and repetitive that it's banal and idiotic. I'm sure everyone is aware of the ins and outs of the Impreza or can easily glean the info from here.
Personally I think it's about time some sort of rebuke was implemented for the idiocy of winding people up or posting stuff up to provoke a negative response. It's akin to a dwarf with low IQ. Neither big nor clever!

We'll said Einstein...
People are starting to get on my F*****G nerves with all this 2.5 Hawkeye ****..!
If it goes it goes, get it forged and mapped and it will be a better road car than the 2ltr

My post was a sarcastic dig at the idiots who are continually moaning about the 2.5 and how every 2.5 engine will explode. I myself have 2.5 with over 90k with original HG & Pistons.
But I guess a guy with you IQ would if worked that out...

What was the point though really? The thread was clearl about floor mats and no one has mentioned engine reliability before or indeed after your post.
