Can you be a bit more specific what wings you have bought and why you are changing them?

The saloon front wings are the same as the wagon. The rears don't come off so not sure where you are going with this.

No - they're different. The saloons have flares on them the wagon wings don't! (newage cars anyway!)

Rears can be done, but it invokes swapping rear doors and some nifty welding

OP, sorry I have no idea what size spacers

15mm mate front and rear, you can go 20mm hubcentric but you will need to roll your rear arches, thats if your running standard wrx wheels by the way.

I looked into this and decided it was far too much work and expense tbh.

PM Jura he had this look on his wagon although I am not sure if it was already done when he first acquired it.

Default will this work on a Hawkeye?

Bringing this thread back from the the dead!!

I've got a Hawkeye 2006 WRX Wagon, and need new front wings, as a previous poor crash repair is rusting out. Seems to be harder than I thought to source seeing as the WRX and STI both run a wider wing.

Seeing as the above looks great IMO, i'm considering a set of STI or WRX saloon wings to fit instead.

1. Do the Hawkeye STI and WRX saloon share the same wide wing, or is the STI one actually wider to fit the track, despite looking the same?

2. Will the saloon wings fit straight on to the wagon, or will there be fitment or panel alignment differences?

3. if the above options are not possible, does this mean the Hawkeye wagain uses the same wing as the standard shopping variety wagon?

Pic of mine:

Thanks,
Dom

Following on fro this - I'm still trying to source some good hawkeye wagon wings.

Can I safely assume the standard shopping wagons are same as the WRX wagon on this gen? I now know the saloons are different.

I was at the Historic rally festival @HistRallyFest this Sunday to see Bad Obsession's Binky build (WOW!!) and there was a wagon there with STi the rear end. Looked Good. Chatted to the guy for 10min... You Will need a rear bumper, and if swapping the interior the rear seats are a nightmare...

He must've been from a local club but more than that I couldn't tell you

You'll need to change the bumper if fitting wider wings I'd imagine.

Iv considered going saloon front for a few years with my hawk wagon!
Found out before you need
- Saloon front bumper
- Saloon wings
- Saloon inner arch liners

Last year my car got damaged (someone reversed into me) and needed a new front bumper and because it was a insurance job It was like for like and even tried to write my car off.

This year I have rust coming through on one wing and considered going saloon front again lol.
Googled to try and find part numbers for wagon wings which I did but couldn't find a source for them. I then phoned the local dealer (didn't think I had any hope) and asked them about new wagon wings. Low and behold they could get me a pair of brand new hawk wagon wings.
So Iv purchased a pair of them and stored them till I book it in for bodywork. Could be worth a call or email to a Subaru dealer.
Anyway good luck which ever way you go
