Default My Subaru 2005 project

Hello everyone, I thought I'd share my project that I have now finally finished of my much loved 2005 blob eye Subaru Impreza WRX STi currently running at over 850bhp.

A little bit of background history of me and my super fast cars.

When I first passed my test my mum brought my Renault 5 1Litre and it was nuts, I could get to 0-60 in about 3.5 minutes. I sold that after a year or so.

I swiftly moved on to a Fiesta Mk 3 (with flames on the doors) luckily I crashed that and it caught on fire. (not my fault)

I then got a Fiesta Mk4 - Crashed that (not my fault again)
Peugeot 106 GTi (sold that)
Fiesta MK6 STi (sold that)
Subaru Impreza WRX STi 2005 UK Version and this is where my story begins.

I had been searching the net for months looking for the perfect car to start with, I found this little beast which had a few mods complete already.

Before picture:

So I then stripped it down ready for paint:

Masked the beast up:

Used my years of experience of bodywork to paint the beast:

Let it bake for a while:

Time to refit and upgrade:

now the beast is finally finished!

Before and after:

My actual car:

Thanks for looking!

Sadly the wheels were glued on so had to carefully pull(snap) them off! Least now they are black, its not so noticeable!

It's so small, however will you get inside? (Looking for a 1/10th shell Hawkeye to go on My Tamiya R/C Mazda RX7 drift car chassis, hopefully can do something similar)

haha! I'll find a way to fit!

I did find a spot on kit which came with the STi stickers and looked perfect but was £140 so I went for this cheaper option! Quite enjoyed painting it, first time I've ever used a spray gun!
