Default recently joined saying hi

hi guys im Paul from Castleford west Yorkshire recently joined
I own a wrx sti 555 bought it from a friend as a project with a knocking bottom end and the body work was a little tatty
im doing all the body work and engine rebuild my self

few pictures of some prep work and how it stands at the moment

new forged pistons if these HF pistons are no good for around 350+
h-section rods, acl bearings,standard size crank,mls head gaskets, reconditioned heads,front mount, filter, 3" exhaust
running td05 for now but will be upgrading before getting it mapped
I no tuning can get expensive I did a 550bhp sapp cossie last year and I don't wona turn this in to a money pit

I own a powder coating business and just carnt help my self with the wheels

had some spare time today to finish flatting and buffing the car now ive finished painting it, been hard work but its getting there now, (wings are only sat on) just the bumper to sort

Nice looking cosworth and 555. You say you own a powder coating company hmmmm may have to enquire about that.

Gold is my preference on the 555. It Doesnt always suit some of the newer models that are a lighter blue IMO. But i think gold looks great with 53C.

Paintwork looks fantastic.

Great to see one be restored to its former glory. I'd say gold but I'm bias.
