Hi all.Had NurSpecR on my 05 STi for a few months and have noticed quite a lot of rust on mounting brackets.I had this system fitted as had similar problem with previous H&S backbox.With price and reputation of this exhaust i did'nt think would have this problem.Would like to hear from anyone who has this exhaust.

 

Had mine on ten years and no signs of rust on brackets or pipe.

 

you sure yours wasn't originally from a classic and someone has welded the brackets on hence the corrosion

 

Mine is fine, get a few spots when it's dirty but it
Always cleans up nice,

 

Do you live near the sea?

Both my HS never suffered, but I bought a car from Cornwall once with a nurspec and its hangers were so corroded it was ready to drop off

 

Thanks to all for your replies.Exhaust was fitted new about 3-4 months ago.I previously had a H&S backbox swapped twice under material defect as part of warranty(should have been stainless brackets,but magnet stuck to them).

 

I live in the Midlands (Derbyshire),but i had an Afterburner Vortex on for four years and sold it to a SN member.It polished up as new.Not sure if material or defect warranty on this exhaust.
