Default exhausts

hi, anyone any experience with either of the following, either mongoose systems (I know they are popular with the ford rs guys ) or the tornado systems?

secondly, I may have touched on this already, classic impreza, unmodified, has it got to be a 2.5 system as most that are advertised seem to be 3".

if I were to purchase a 3" cat back would it bolt straight up? and would there be any drawbacks running a 3" system on a standard car as opposed to a 2.5 inch system.

sorry if this sounds a daft question, but just want to be well informed and make the right purchase.

just to clarify, im not seeking outright performance, I just want a nice sounding system that's not going to have an adverse effect on my car, im fully aware of some sellers claiming an instant 30+ bhp by just adding a back box?? which seems outlandish and far fetched.

3" cat back would not borlt on to a 2.5" flange. And if you do change the air flow significantly a remap is always a good idea...
Best bet it just get a 2.5" system, unless you're gonna be going for big power and what not it's all you need. Plenty of Prodrive or STi pipes about.
