Default Exhaust spring bolts

I will be replacing my standard center section and was wondering if I need new spring bolts or can I use any old bolts that fit?

Getting the spring bolts off was a real pain in the **** and dont want to go through all that again

I assume I will need a new donut gasket?

Thanks guys

You could use any old bolt but the holes are quite large where the bolts go through and the spring takes up the gap nicely. I'm sure a suitable replacement could be found, but I re used mine.

Personally I cant see the point of the spring bolt but I was told a while ago they serve a purpose.... but have changed loads of exhaust leaving them off due to rust and had no problems.

I also re used the donut gasket and had no leaks at all, might as well try it and if it leaks buy a new one if not result. Its only two bolts after all
