Clutch bearing, fork and pin all need to be on the box before fitting the engine.

Jack the gearbox up using a scissor jack so its at an angle and clear of the front cradle by a good few inches, remove the flywheel cover from the engine as it sometimes catches when fitting. Knock the dowels out of the gearbox casing.
After that its just a matter of getting the angle correct and lining the bottom bolts on the block into the gearbox casing and giving it a good old shake into place.

Once you get the engine and box together with a few nuts and bolts, remove the clutch slave cylinder from the gearbox by the two 14mm bolts, then push the clutch fork towards the bulkhead. You should hear a satisfying ''click'' as the bearing locates in the pressure plate.

Remove the scissor jack from under the box and lower the engine mounts into the cradle.

Plain sailing after that

Refit the slave cylinder and clutch spring. You should have a clutch pedal after that
