Getting your scoob 'ready for winter'
What do you lot do to get your own scoob ready for winter? For me it's just a case of putting in the garage and forgetting about it lol. Although I do go and warm her up twice a week

Damn good jetwash, fresh underseal, a good coat of polish to protect against road salt, check all levels and top up if necessary, tank full of v-power then sit and wait for the white stuff

Some winter oil/filter and a coat or two of a durable sealant and that's about it. Oh, had an involuntary coolant change too this year when my radiator shat it's load!

put the studded tyres on it.... thats about it.
oh, put a bucket with 2" of screen wash n a bit of a sponge in the car port.. to clean road spray off the headlights, else cant see where the fack Im going when it gets dark out in the sticks.

Up the concentration on the washer fluid and maybe a good coat of sealant if I'm feeling keen. Then eagerly away the first snow fall of my first winter with a scoob

Good luck - make sure that you pack some nice warm boots in the back when you have to abandon it. I had a RWD S14 200SX and I can't tell you what a struggle it was to get anywhere. If you have to stop going up a hill, you'll never get started again lol

I used to have a 400hp 3-door sierra... Tried to take it for mot in the snow as i just spent 5.5 years and £35k building it...
Had to get a couple of neighbours to push me out the street but other than that it was ok.
Except for half a mile down the road after having passed the mot a pair of pikey ***** is a connect shunted me hard at a roundabout and wrote the ****** off, before they ****ed off too! (Road was only wet at this point)
Oh, it had 225 wide rear tyres, so that didnt help with grip in the snow.
If you dont have any, get some snow chains. Awesome things, used them on my old vivaro down the m4. Gave me the ***** to do 30mph in 2 foot of snow and pass every other ****er on the road!
Till i got to a point where the snow had melted and they all over took me as i could only do 30mph pmsl
I still have a pair, so might stick em on the wifes car if they will fit.
I will leave the inpreza on the linglongs and try not to put it on its roof lol IF it snows...
