problems?

OK, I've heard some rumors saying that the Rex and STi are a little prone to tranny problems/breakage. Also heard that the paint is real thin and chips easily.

What's the story?

Paint is thin on my Forester, but I have to say the paint is as good as new after 18000 miles and 2½ years. Some on here say they have plenty of chips. I actually prefer them with Cod or Haddock. My ex missus used to saute them first...Blutes

No transmission problems either. This side of Subaru is unbreakable (except the clutch if you abuse it) But if you abuse anything it will let you down. My mate Alf drank 3 bottles of whisky as week and abused his liver. Now he is 7 feet under. You pays the price my friend....Blutes
