For £500 I personally think you're better off getting a 2nd hand set of Tein SuperStreets off a reputable breaker (I got mine off MattyBR).
Mine are super sweet but I'm still waiting to get the geo/suspension setup from Shevron for a full review.

Make sure you make the right choice when it comes to coilovers, dont just buy a set because there cheap as the wrong choice can really ruin your car. Get it right and it can transform your car also!!

You also need to look what you need the coilovers for??? Do you do trackdays/sprints?? Do you want them for everyday/occasional blast??? if thats the case then maybe a set of lowering springs could be the better option and a lot cheaper!!!

Personally I would say some coilovers are too hard for our UK roads, Ive had loads of different set of coilovers and some of them where just way to hard and would cause the car to hop and jump about when pushing it on roads, and some would make a horrible bang if hit a small pot hole!!!!

Yes, depends on what your doing with your car...I found Teins wonderful for the track, but terrible on the street as even of their softest setting they are rock hard! Car would bounce over the tinyiest pot hold..and girls hated it, have them chest pains

Ive been running Apex/BC Racing ones for a few years, they are good, cant say perfect, but well priced and with adjustable rebound, can be soft for city driving and nice and tight for the track. They had a group sale back then and they cost less than 500 but doubt you could get a good set for that now.

I had had Wietec and Bilstein on other cars..the Bilstein personally were my favourites, but at 1500 a set, way to much. Back in the good old days of this country!

I have super streets on mine and i think they are brilliant. I live out in the sticks and they take the bumps better than a seasoned hooker !

thsts the niggle with coilovers, even if there is rebound adjustment, the spring rate/wieght is still set..so you have to find the nice balance between the spring and the rebound
