TMIC Refurb - question

Hi all,

I am looking to re-furb my TMIC, but looking to find out what Temps the intercooler works at, so I can determine what type of finish i can use.

Anyone help?

I wouldn't coat the intercooler with anything as it could impede the heat exchange and lower it's efficiency. The best way would be to clean what is there.

I used to clean my gt4 charge cooler by blocking one end and putting some petrol in and aggregating it to loosen all the oil residue etc from inside, same principle with an intercooler I would imagine.
