Question

Stupid subject heading but is actually what I'm looking for. Can anyone please suggest any good books or better still, web sites, that go into how engines work (+ turbos), etc.

Looking under the bonnet of my car is something I've not done much of (apart from the usual - oil, etc), but I'd love to start getting to know the subject matter better. Especially before I start getting into mods.

I know roughly how it all hangs together but I'd rather go into more detail - something with nice simple diagrams would be best!

Hope someone can point me in the right direction

Cheers
Scotsman.

Hi,

A good book for general turbocharging principles is Maximum Boost by Corky Bell. It covers all of the fundamentals and will give you some direction when evaluating potential mods.

You can buy it online from Amazon.com

Cheers,

Alex

Ignore Mr Wilson!! Very Good Paul however

I must say Scotsman - this topic gets the Lewis seal of approval as one which is interesting, unique and harmless - really.
