on private track a blue focus came up behind from nowhere... I pulled over let him past exhaust popping and banging sound good all looking at me as they pass smiling... I looked to my mate and said hold on fairly the same to 130mph and he looked like he was running out of steam and pulled to let me past steaming by to 155mph and i thought whoooo slow down

So a blobeye sti 340 estimate 4wd very happy with that result...

Cant believe how solid and planted the scoobie felt at them speeds was still pulling strong too but i know they not meant for top speeds was only held for very short period...

It's a good job it was on a private track, otherwise you would be taken to task about racing on the public highways.

 

What's the chances of meeting some Fords going to Ford Fair AND being on a private track, all at the same time!

very likely from the sounds of it ? , you are lucky there wasn't a fiesta st there we all know they can beat a sti ?

 

 

Some of MK2 focus are knocking 400bhp+.There no slouch.
Some of the Mk1's are also 400 bhp + also.This is a lot of
car for little money.

 

 

Had a race today, Was on a nice bit of road near my house driving my 2nd car which is a Fiesta TDCi, when a blobeye scooby sti come racing behind me, So I let it pass, but just as he floors it pass me, I floor the fiesta(turbo kicks in) and I start to level with the blobeye sti, But just as I reach for 4th gear, I notice that the fiesta starts pulling away from the scoob all the way to 155mph!!

I was quite suprised that the fiesta was faster the the scoob, and to cap it off we stopped at the top of the road and had a chat, and he said that he was running 350bhp, and he was suprised when I said that the fiesta was standard and probably running 100bhp, But the fiesta has not got 4wd and is lighter then the scoob, so I guess that why I won!!!

i got dropped by a Veyron earlier when my mildly modified 20v hit boost cut

he was so lucky as normally anything other than formula 1 can keep up with me

 

There is a rumour going round that the bosses at Formula 1 was thinking of asking you to race next year in your Golf 20v, but it would be a unfair advantage and all the other drivers would be upset!!!!

Ahh well, back to racing space shuttles up Hams Hall on a Saturday night!!!
