Wheel spacers
Right I've seen a few threads on here with people saying they'd avoid using wheel spacers if possibly (when fitting Brembos usually) and by the correct offset wheels instead. My question is, why?
Surely if you buy decent hub centric spacers then it keeps everything correctly in line and if you space the wheels out no more than the required offset, then it's not going to create any more issues than running higher offset wheels in the first place?

Just had to put some Ripspeed (Yes, Ripspeed. Didn't think i'd ever have a halfrauds part on my car
) 3mm spacers on my car to fit the porsche calliper set up on. This was done by Rich at FB tuning. I'm sure if it was a bad idea he'd NEVER do it....

See I did think about this, respected traders are never going to reccomend something that's going to make your wheels fall off. Surely?
Yet some of the comments i've seen make out like the moment the wheel hits the ground then it's a gonna.

I think there might be two different conversations here. One for my situation using say 3 - 5 mm. And then the other using say 15 - 25mm.
But then again, I'm usually wrong
Mags will hopefully come along in a minute a clear things up.
