There some of us that have turned up for the odd or two meets, but the weather is normally naff and so some don't turn up

When I can afford it I do like to get together but tbh, I never really feel comfortable at them

so would you be interested in run outs on some good roads? instead of meets?
I am not so keen at meetings but like organising road runs

The thing is I am old (sort of) and I can't be bothered to waste fuel like that. I can't really afford to run a scoob like a lot of people do and tbh it don't go out much and with the low miles it has there gonna stay low for the duration that I own the car
Also with the run out on some good roads, you run the risk of other road users and police and I like to keep my license as I need it for work too

The reason I feel left out most of the time is that people talk cars a lot and I am very un-knoweldgeable about cars. Or some just talk sooooooo much b0ll0x you can't be bothered to interact I like to share ideas and look at other peoples cars and see what's been done and good/clean they are etc

Maybe you should sell the scoob and buy a diesel fiesta

I am 53 and not young , I didnt say anything about speed and I am more into the handling of the car, any idiot can go flat out in a straight line, and brake for bends ....the fun is in the car being smooth and staying on my side of the road....if I want fast, track days and autobahns are good for that...., and I am quite lucky not to be married and have responsibilities, as a result......I do have plenty of toys , Landrovers, motorbikes, quad and ktm crossbow.......If anyone would like to go for a run the navigation seat is usually empty .....

I'm in Huntingdon and I don't see a lot of Scoobies around here, I would like to attend one and meet other Scooby owner and share thoughts and interest about the car. I have an 03 Blob and I'm getting a S2k this weekend as a daily. Lol Vtec kicked in Yo. Also, anyone going to the Japanese Auto Extravaganza in Kettering next weekend? Don't want to visit solo so If I could find a group I can tag along with, that would be cool.

Link for jae

http://www.japcarclub.org

It's not like must shows , it's very subdue in the fact you not got a load of crap stick on crap polos with silly wheels on , it's more like a massive club meet of all different clubs then add beer !

It's very chilled out with the it's a knock out competitions running and evening entertainment i

There is a jap only car park for day visitors to avoid parking with the riff raff

Erm no mate there is not a track at wicksteed park lol , it's not your usual chav fest it's a bit different being more sociable

Them they do the it's a knockout but I never done one but we tried to enter the tug if war but we was 3x the size of most the entrants

It's more of a club show ,

I thought the same, what a strange place to hold a car show.
Who on earth goes to a car show to watch football, food eating contests and tug of wars....
