There's always next year though. Better to repair your car properly rather than rush/bodge it for the sake of one show?

It may be a fairly cheap fix, take the heads off and Inspect. You want to find out why it went so if doesn't go again. Plus it is number one isn't it? So you would want to keep matching numbers would you?
