Default Stay Clear or Maybe?

Just seeing what I could get for £2000 on Gumtree. What are your opinions on this:

http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-m...#photo-content

He would take £1800, cambelt 15k miles ago with receipt but other than that no paperwork or service history, 2001. 155k miles which apparently he says means it's been looked after?

Depends on your intentions mate.

Seems a good platform for a huge power build if body/interior is in good nick and you're worried about the mileage!

Well to be honest I would like to get a UK due to the insurance cost and in the future add the necessary mods to boost the power. As you can tell my budget isn't a lot but I'm not too fussy really...

The sellers grammar would put me off. he's either semi-literate or thinks it's cool to 'text speak' in adverts!
It must have had a clutch change by now? If not, factor in another £800 or so.

Just listed mine if you're looking for a good reliable motor with a bit of power.
