You should buy a japanese import (JDM). Then get exhaust, panel filter change an remap. Make 340. This model sti is a twinscroll turbo. Most aggressive, very little lag, strong engine. All round better than UK STI

JDM 2.0L twinscroll will hit 350bhp/380lbft with an exhaust, panel filter and remap....After that its a UK MY05(widetrack) with the same should be around he 330-340 mark with similar torque.

Ones to look out for are;

S202 / S203 / S204
Spec C
Type 20 / Type 25
2005 JDM

Other than that you can get any STI to that power with the right mods.

You only need a bigger turbo, you won't NEED a front mount at 350/360bhp.

I've had a lot of scoobys classic shapes before. And they were 320 hp proven and they felt fast. Recently I owned a sti type uk 03 had a remmap at tdr racing and came out 320. I was happy until I drove home it didn't feel fast or had much grunt I no it's heavier car but just didn't give me much of a buz I've cosworth egos m3s I've got a soft spot for subarus but I want abit more power.

Believe it or not if you did a back to back comparison of the two you will find the New age quicker a lot of the time, it just doesn't feel quicker because they are much more planted on the road, nice smooth dry track and it's a different story.

Well if your set on more power here is your list.

MD321 turbo.
Front mount.
Rcm induction kit.
up rated fuel pump.
3 port boost solenoid .
ngk pf7 plugs.
parallel fuel rails or mod existing.
Remap.
Brown underpants.

I may have missed something, but that lot will see you to well into 400bhp and then if you want more just add 20% meth another remap and you'll be touching 500bhp.

I recon that will give you the shove your after.
