Hi

does any one know if a import classic lambda sensor is the same as a uk turbo version.the one i have on the car has 3 wires red black white.and the one i have been giveing is off a uk turbo and has 3 wires black black white.will they do the same job or will i need the 3 wire red black white thats on the car now.done a lot of looking but couldnt find any results hope you guys can help me out.

My early import has the black red white. Is your new sensor brand new or used?

 

Its off a mates car jason.looks all the same apart from the colours.i did have one orderd but he said dont bother as he had a spare one.dropped it off last night and i seen the wires were different colours.didnt want to fit it incase its not right.only reason iam changeing it as i have a new downpipe and the old lambda sensor is crossthreaded on and will break on trying to remove it.so will it have to be the one thats on that i refit thought it would be but wasnt sure if they all did the same job ie colour wise.
Its a used one jason he gave me he had it spare off his old downpipe.
