Default Finding the correct V5 STi boot stickers

I have a 1998 V5 STi, in black. When I bought it I had it de-spoilered and the WRX sticker on the boot removed. I am now going to have it re-sprayed, after which I want the WRX sticker to go back on.

Stupidly I forgot to take a photo of the original sticker before it came off. I am now trying to find a replacement, and I want it to be as close as possible to the original.

The large, happy 'WRX' was in green, and I can find ones that look a very close match. However, the only smaller stickers that run along below the 'WRX' that I can find say 'Subaru Impreza STi'. But on my car, I am sure that below the 'WRX' there was a long thin black tapering sticker with 'Subaru Technica International' in small white letters. The trouble is I can't even find a photo of such a sticker, after days of trawling all over the internet.

Have I lost my marbles, does/did anyone out there have a sticker that matches what I have described? If so: got any pics? Thanks!

http://www.rogerclarkmotorsport.co.u...?catsLevel=110 (be warned they are pricey) or they should be able to tell what badge is correct for your version.

Got beaten to it!

This is the correct one for your car - http://www.rogerclarkmotorsport.co.u...?productID=558

Bought exactly the same one from Roger Clark last week and bought one 8 years ago from them before that as both the plum owner before me and the idiot owner after me decided that they needed to make the car look as boring as possible by removing all boot stickers.

Correction, Idiot owner thought it far more important to remove the boot sticker again but put "The Fast and the Furious" stickers on Fluffy, a lovely Ripspeed multi-LED gearknob and have The Fast and the Furious on repeat in the dvd player, innit....

Thanks both of you, but that is the sticker I already found that doesn't look how I remember it on my car. Any other ideas? Ta.

That image isn't displaying for me Banny, possibly hotlink protection, I have attached it here.

That annoys me as I was told that was the right one for the car by the guys there over the phone at RC!

I got the wrong (older) one the first time I bought one.......

Thats the one, found the correct on one RCM site too

Dark Colors
http://www.rogerclarkmotorsport.co.u...?productID=556

Light Colors
http://www.rogerclarkmotorsport.co.u...?productID=557

However I think the confusion stems from the above two stickers being fitted to the Type R's, and the darker green sticker fitted to the 4 door cars from V3-V6 so RCM are correct in what they say

I love you man. I was sitting here twitching at the thought that the wrong decal was going on! . I did wonder what the different decals denoted tbh, you have answered that perfectly thanks.

Thanks Banny, the last one you linked to is closest, but not quite what I recall having.
