Newage harness to change radio from oem to pioneer
I am trying to buy the harness required to replace the oem radio with a 16 pin pioneer one. I don't want to solder any cables and just want a easy way to replace the radio.
Can i buy a connector for the default oem radio to iso and then buy another one from iso into pioneer 16 pin?
Regards.

First off do you have the original power lead that comes with the radio?
If so you need to get the adaptor piece as shown above in the pic, this will then plug from the standard car harness in to the white plug, then the pioneer plug will plug in to the other end, in to the black plug and in to the back of the radio with a smaller plug.
I would highly advise buying a decent plug as the shìt that comes from eBay for under £2 are all wired to ****, there have been a couple of threads on this lately.
But it really is straight forward, no cutting or joining is required ( unless somebody previously has butchered the O.E Subaru radio loom ) they all plug in to each other and away you go

all radios come with a loom with the manufactures plug on one end and and ISO on the other end
if the scoobys alredy iso they you shouldnt need anything
if you have lost the loom (ie bought it second hand) then contact the pioneer
kenwood gave me one for free so mabey you will also get lucky

What model head unit is it?
I've just done the same install on a 2005 WRX and my setup just needed the harness above. Here's how it looks in mine:
So in simple terms the harness attached from the white Subaru plug to the white end of the harness, and the black end of the harness went directly into the Pioneer head unit.

It shouldn't be pioneer specific, the adaptor your after is Scooby loom to ISO. I.e. the one that MDS_WRX posted.
You may or may not also need an aerial adaptor but I can't remember which one off the top of my head.
