flashing red key on dashboard which l know is the immobiliser keeps flashing on and off and setting the alarm off. This has started since the car went for respray and the battery was disconnected as the alarm kept going off(never had this problem before). I always use the blipper? to open shut the car and set the alarm, l think they've used the keyfob after l told them not too as I was told when l bought it would cause problems. Anyone know how to fix this problem or is it a trip to the specialists ? Any help/tips would be gratefully appreciated.

 

Its a 2001 Bugeye by the way.
