Impossible to know how many are left. I would guess they are pretty rare now though.
They made 100 a month but the first hundred were given the acropolis status to celerbrate a rally win. They were identical to other first gen sti's however.

This.

Absolutely impossible to find out, without going and looking at every single classic Impreza in the country.

"How many left" is completely useless for working it out. That's no fault of the website, as when these were being imported, there was no exact model on the DVLA register to match them against. So they were registered as all sorts of Impreza models. Hence the for sale adverts stating "registered as GL, so cheap insurance"

Bloody rare to get a genuine, non-chaved up v1 STI though, I know that.

Off the top of my head, they initially had production runs of 100 per month early in '94, but that increased to 200 per month until the v2 came out later in '94.
