I recently bought an subaru impreza non turbo 1600 and I'm trying to figure out reason for my car to be burning gas so fast, all full tank last me a week and maybe 2 days. Any ideas.

 

How many miles is that?

I'd love for mine to last a week and 2 days if its being driven every day!

Subarus aren't known for their economical performance, as above how many miles are you doing, what was your previous car that your comparing it to, because if it was a 1.1 micra then it won't get anywhere near the same.

 

Quite an asthmatic engine especially when coupled to an Auto transmission.
When was it last serviced ?
Any fault codes stored in the ECU ?
