Default The Wheel Specialist!!!

Hey guys,

Has anyone ever used The Wheel Specialist?

Any good reviews/horror stories?

Wanting to get my 17" Gold Enkei's alloys painted Gloss black, been quoted £300 for all 4 alloys including balancing, refitting of tyres etc

Is this any good?

Ive seen a few sets that has been refurbished by the Edinburgh branch and I'm very impressed with the quality, a much higher standard than a lot I've seen. They were also able to arrange for a diamond cut finish which as I understand is a lot trickier.

That's the kind of replies I'm after mate, thanks

I thought that £300 is not that bad but I'm sure others will disagree.

Anyway, that sounds good and I'm now more confident everything will be fine.

There is a branch here in Glasgow a few miles from me, it even says they give you a years warranty on them.

Job done!!!

yep they do give one years warranty and I paid £380 for my 18 inch wheels and that was with 10% discount. They fully check the wheels for damage and only repair with weld not filler,an excellent service in my views.

I've used them in Newcastle as has my bro, I would haggle a bit on price though, I had a few quotes off them the first time and got my 17's refurbished and powder coated for £230 all in iirc.

They did do a great job aswell.

My brother had his Porsche rims done for the same price and they looked awesome too.

That is an amazing looking job, the hatch sti alloys painted in gloss black are exactly what I'm after. Thanks very much for the photo's, really sets the mind at ease.

Plus the focus looks completely bad *** now with the gun metal finish, really set the car off a good set of alloys

Again thanks!

Also used the Newcastle branch and they did an amazing job
Got a set of OZ Superleggeras off ebay, they were pretty ratty, rims all kerbed and a really bad rattle can paint job.

Got them repaired and redone in gloss black, plus my diff guard too for £200 cash

My mate used the one in Newcastle for his Corsa VXR when he had it. Quality was amazing when he got the car back...although they did loose one of his wheel nuts somehow, but I think they forked out for all round replacements for him.

His was £300 for all 4 to be done gloss black with the tires taken off. He didn't even try to haggle with them but have been told they do drop a bit off if you try.

Had mine done in Wales (Cwmbran) 2 years ago. They did a fantastic job repairing & powdercoating them.I've got my wheels booked in again for the 1st of may for a colour change, plus some under bonnet items. I'm dropping the car in on the Wednesday & picking it up the next day.
