evening all, i was on my way to work earlier and the local plod decided to pull me on the basis that my front number plate was illegal... Fair enough, it is. as the pig was talking to me, two bikers on the opposite side of the road pull some spectacular wheelies off the lights and carry on up the road on their back wheels. i laughed and the copper said "well i cant really do you for a number plate when they just did that can i?" he gave me a verbal warning to change it and left me go on my way! result. thank you to the two loons on an r1 and a gsxr for saving me £60!!!

 

What size plate do you have? I have a 3/4 size on mine for last 2 years and never had an issue yet

erm.... well yes, its an illegal size number plate so im obviously in the wrong. i fitted it knowing that it was so, and i very much doubt that he frequents this "public forum"
