Default hi im a noob previous drifter.

hello everyone.

my names craig and im from Portsmouth. Ive had my eye on imprezas for a while now as my mate really wants me to get one.

previously had a full on drift weapon Nissan 180sx which pushed around 350bhp of which I sold recently to my regret. (will post pics for those interested)

but time and life goes on and so does my age

so ive recently agreed to what I think is a jdm white impreza wrx which I think the local tongue say its a bug eye?

anyway its a very clean car with low mileage and not molestered with pants modifications.

once I pick it up Friday ill take some pics to show all along with some work that needs to be carried out like cam belt and a stage 2 exedy clutch.

then it will be onto putting my own personal touch as some of the hardcore fans of this forum might not be too keen on ie rwd conversion, fmic, walbro, nice turbo, recurc, polybushes, camber arms, tension rods, better brakes, mega looowwws and some tidy skid rims. (wide of course)

the main reason for joining is im from a big Nissan background so engine mods on subarus are not my strong point so hope theres a lot of peope who can point me in the right direction.

be good to talk and ill keep all progress on here as think itll be a break from the norm as im allways changing my mind on how things look, go, don't go

thanks for reading.

Start a project thread when you begin doing things to the car mate, sounds like it'd be interesting to watch come together - I assume the RWD conversion is because you plan to turn it in to a drift car? Should divide opinion nicely White JDM Bugeyes are fairly uncommon too, I like them.

Im interested as well as I only live in Emsworth (about 10 miles away from Portsmouth).
I only bought mine about 3 weeks ago and im in the same boat as you, I previously have had VW's and know them well but not subaru's XD So I am on a learning curve too.

This place certainly is the best place to be for information!

Good luck.

P.S. Post up pics of your 180sx I really wanted one of these...

Looks nice - other than that number plate! Some people... Some wider wheels and a suspension drop and it'll be looking awesome.

Not sure on the blue wheels on the other car though!

It's just the colour I'm not keen on, the wheels themselves suit the car perfectly!
