Default Break bypass

I've just brought a pioneer avh-x1500 and wondered if anyone can explain "in simple terms" how to do the brake bypass?

i take it you mean the hand "brake" bypass.

all you need to do is earth the wire that should go to the handbrake as this will fool the unit into thinking the handbrake is on and you will be able to use all the functions on the move

Yep I do mean "Brake".

Cheers Tubbytommy.

I've just read alot about needing a "microbypass" for the pioneer units, has anyone had this experience?

Mine is just hooked around one of the bolts which holds the headunit into the car. Does the trick, will see come MOT time though!

As if the mot tester is going to check your car stereo.
Its not even part of the test and even if it was just pull the fuse out before mot and tell him its broken.
