Any one know this Subaru
Hi guys,
I'm a newbie on here but I'm a long term Impreza fan, I have been looking at buying a P1 for years (since 2000, I'm showing my age) but funds have newer been plenty full enough to afford one.
So my latest plan is to buy a P1 needing a bit of work or an engine rebuild, which I can save up for, *from what I can gather you are talking £3.5k for a decent rebuild and work associated with it.
I have spotted this one and the bottom end is knocking so it needs a rebuild,

Does any one know the car?
Last week the car was £5k now it's £250 more expensive... Strange.
Have engine rebuilds come down in price in the last week....!
Is it worth £3k? Considering the finished car will cost £7k to get back on the road?

Probably worth £7 to £7.5K with a rebuild costing £3.5k and all the hassle and ancillary work you would have to get done (clutch, belts etc), I suppose its worth £3.5k.
I know two guys that bought theirs for around the three with engines gone but they spent well north of £3.5k on a rebuild.
