So bought my frist classic shape subaru impreza sti import in september it was imported into the uk in 2010 and now in sunny Gibraltar.The car is very clean inside and out so i just had some fun driving round for a couple of months. I then started poking round the car and found a little water in the spare wheel area and noticed some rusty water marks on the back of the rear lights,sticky black stuff and clear silicone in the boot area behide the lights which was hiding the rust.This is what i found when the lights came off,and this is what it looks like now.(Pictures to follow)

 

 

Any advice,Can you get a whole new panel or just get it welded up,this is my first ever car project and scooby so want it to be spot on thanks

 

You could contact some of the breakers on here and see if they would cut the section out and post it to you. So it is contoured correctly.
