Default turbo inlet

Just picked up a samco inlet hose the one that goes under the manifold.
Question is can I fit without lifting the inlet manifold up? Cars 99UK turbo.

Got carried away today. Removed complete inlet and started cleaning up engine and removing old pipes no longer used.
