Sorry hear that there,we are went too with 14mm headstuds and about the heads not sure,do you consider run AVCS heads 2.5L or 2.0L JDM heads ?

On yours ECU you can run AVCS/VVT and this can help in spool up

Can be made to fit but will need some messing with the wiring as you need a later inlet manifold, Simon should be able to give you a proper answer

Its a fair bit of work to change manifold to fit then or change to newer manifold, wiring and ecu needs the avcs adding and a newage crank wheel. All possible deffo and avcs will spool nicely.

Can you not get standard v1/2 head casings for peanuts and fit your cams and solid lifters and new valves? From memory they were 272 or similar cams.
