Cheers mate. Thought I once read somewhere the classic and newage port differ, could be wrong though. More research I think.

IIRC the bluetooth one does not work with the iPhone due to Apples limited bluetooth connectivity

I currently have the bluetooth OBD dongle in my mondeo that connects to my android phone and runs torque - I have honestly not found a better app than torque on android for this

i built a slide in mount for my phone in the mong-deo of boom - it is amazing how handy torque is

Plus with the bluetooth reach it means that when the car is idling for hours at shows to keep the stereo going i can monitor the engine from outside the car

I use the PLX Kiwi 2, which is wifi. Wifi is faster than Bluetooth and works flawlessly on my iPhone with Dash Command. I leave mine connected all the time as the Kiwi will sleep.

Anyone got the link to the sensor your need to buy so in get the right one. Have a 2010 sti if that makes any difference,

Also will be used with my old HTC or Samsung s3 so which would be best blue tooth or wifi adapter

Phil
Yeah no oil temp ! It can only read values of sensors the car has , and it would seem thats one subarus dont have (surprising)

It has boost (but i have a gauge anyway)
Intake temp
Coolant temp (there is already a gauge on your dials but has no numbers to indicate)
Exhaust temp etc.
HorsePower and Torque is pretty acurate if you put tge correct details and weights of you car in.
0-60 , quarter mile times . Im not convinced yet , but its been wet and public roads etc , but my times have been aweful ! Think there may be a slight lag in the App for it to be acurate or maybe im just rubbish !
You can turn voice on and it tells u when the car is at driving tem , but it must go by coolant as there is no oil sensor so not the best
U can set level warnings (the display flashes when it goes above/below your set limit
The video recorder add on is good for track days or just to feel cool

Talk to me about the dash command app, is it worth £35? Just looking at it now, has some really good features!

Cheers Carl, will sort it when I get home, I gather it pulls the power from the car so will automatically turn on when the ignition is switched on.

And also please Excuse the nievety but you couldn't point me in the right direction on the play to connect it to lol

Cheers
