Harry, you would need to contact Armourfend to get an exact price but for example to protect a STi7 saloon, front bumper, leading edge of bonnet, scoop, grill sides, wing end/arch, mirrors, rear bumper top, side sills and fog light covers (Prodrive), before discount i have been quoted £360 +vat

Not trying to hijack your thread but.....
I've just bought a load of protection film from InvincaShield; it's exactly the same stuff as Armourfend (3M ScotchCal Paint Protection film) only it's a cheaper. Full front bumper, bonnet lip, wing ends and A pillars is about £100 (MY00). He's also doing wing mirrors and lower doors. It's self fit so might be a bit of a hassle but the guy assures me it's easy enough.
He's only just produced the MY00 front end; initially he only had the 1.6 front end so he's gone and measured up a turbo bumper. It's different from Armourfend in that it's in about 10 pieces as opposed the Armourfend one-piece. Thus, should you get a few nicks in it from stones you can just replace individual bits at about £10ish each as opposed to the whole front end (£100+ from Armourfend).
I've got the first set he's made for the MY00 and I'll be getting round to fitting it shortly; I'll let you know how I get on.
He hasn't done the new shape fugly yet so if you've got one of those then it's Armourfend for you.
Like I said, not attempting to hijack the thread or knock Armourfend, just letting folks know all the options
Edited to say I've got no connection with InvincaShield

Is there anyway to see what this stuff looks like when it's on ?
Seems that you would end up with a ridge where the film ends.
How does this effect polishing etc..etc...
If I could see one beforehand to see exactly how it affects the looks then I'd be in too. STi7.
Cheers,
Chris

If anyone is interested in the DIY approach and is prepaired to
co-ordinate the distribution of this stuff. I was offered a roll of 3M clear automotive film measuring 12 inch x 1000ft for £672.30 last year. Which must be enough to do 15-20 cars. If anyone is interested in finding out more send me an email and I will have a look for the contact details.

PCB,
Thanks for that m8 - I will be calling them shortly.
Also, has anyone got their web address as I can't find the UK site. I have a feeling they are in Hoddeston, Herts which is not that far from me.....
