Default Polybush vs oem bushes

Hi guys need a bit of info. ARB polybushes vs oem bushes on a classic wagon?. I have had my ARBARS powder coated and im not sure if to go for polybushes or oem bushes. What are the pro's and con's of polybushes against just using new oem bushes. Any comments welcome. Thanks phil

I am doing this, and after advice from 2 suspension specialists, have decided to go OEM. They both said, if you are going to track it, yes, but if it is a daily driver no, due to possibility of vibration .

the poly bushes will hold the bar correctly and allow if to focus on its job, whereeas the rubber ones flex too much as std and a lot of the effort is simply wasted in deflection

You only get NVH noise vibration and harshness, if doing all bushes, and sub frame lock nuts etc. Just doing ARB bushes, no difference, just better. And last longer. Go for it and enjoy.

I've got Powerflex ARB bushes fitted front and rear, as well as them fitted to the rear (front & rear) lateral link arms, and also the front and rear ARB drop links. No noticeable vibration over the OEM bushes they replaced.

And because they are manufactured in two halves they are a piece of cake to fit. Highly recommend!

The only real way of knowing for sure is to get under the car with a vernier and measure them. That way you can't be wrong!

That's a good idea. I've got a vernier and so it's never been an issue having to measure anything. But if you don't have one the open end of a spanner is a very good alternative!

We also supply and fit suspension bushes including Powerflex and Super Pro.
The difference with us is that we support Scoobynet instead of taking advantage.
