Hi guys, just bought a w reg 2000 turbo, a car I used to own when I was younger , bought it as a second car and a bit of nostalgia :-) car idles lovely and revs through rev range in neutral sounding very healthily however when you drive it there is deffo a lack of power there that I think is turbo related as there is no noticeable kick from the car at any rev range like I remember , I've had the actuator changed and its not that what other things could it be that are causing the car to perform in this way ? Boost leak? Without sounding bad. Have you checked the pipe work to and from the turbo

 

MAF??... Had one go on my w reg wagon and it ran like a pig... Got a new one and it is now running perfect

is it producing any boost? stuck actuator... shagged solenoid.
