There were a few runs of version 1 sti's that were made but his ad says the car is very original. The limited runs never looked like that. It should have a plate on the strut top saying 24 of 100.

You have a lot to ask the seller before you accept the deal, 380 bhp just by raising the boost is a bit optimistic imo, you need to find out who built the engine what parts what used and what turbo, injector, who mapped it as well.

Walk away.

It's not a V1 STI for starters guys, and its certainly not a V2. As for being a special edition, no. And 380bhp on high boost....lol...

It's a shed that's worth £1250 at the very most.

If your looking for an impreza you need to stay away from that sh1te web site. It's full of utter sheds and people who have no clue about their cars. The only reason the cars are on there is because they can't sell them anywhere else.

If your after a shed mate i have a nice one in my garden that i'll swap you for the bmw, just need to take the tools and lawn mower out and i'll get some stickers of ebay if thats what you like, hell i'll even fit a roof vent for you.

It's a ditchmyster limited edition, it's got a strate exhaust and the door doubles as a dump valve, you just hang your ar$e out and take a dump in the garden.

If anyone else is interested i value it at 1 penny so i'm taking offers in the region of £4k.

I can't think what ltd edition it could be? It looks Sonic Blue in the photos (somewhere under all that yellow!!). All ltd editions in blue were the darker colour on an N-Reg (53C ???). Also can't think of a run of 100 at all. Even the first STI's were month runs of 200.

This is not a first gen STI. If its got a plaque on it then its been fitted afterwards.

Ask for interior shots.

I'm half tempted to stick an ad up for Impreza's on Ebay warning people about sellers like this.

Even if it was a ltd edition sti it's sure as hell been ruined now.

On that year the colour is not original. It looks like an import so could well be an sti but it certainly wouldn't have been that colour.

You've got to love how all this stuff snow ***** though, bull5hit descriptions just grow with the number of owners.

As someone mentioned above, if you want an Impreza stay away from that site. Every link I've ever seen on that site has been a similar chavved up load of rubbish with claims of pure fantasy. I can honestly say just from links on this site to that site I have never felt the need/desire to even have a look about on there!

Just the name of the site is bad enough.
