Default Throttle Cable Adjustment

The throttle pedal on my 2006 Spec C is loose - there's about 10-20mm of travel before it actually engages the throttle cable.

I assume the throttle cable has stretched and needs to be adjusted somehow.

Can anyone tell me how to do this? Is this an easy DIY job or do I need to take it to a mechanic?

I think you need for free play but that does sound a lot, on your inlet manifold you have your adjuster on there, is somthing you can yourself with a spanner

I'm not to sure as to why you need play but in the handbook it's 5-10mm going from memory sorry, I will check when home to confirm this for you, unless someone can answer before
