ok quick simple one with me changing to a cat bcak sytem will i be able to use the existing exhaust bolts to bolt the new centre pipe to the cat downpipe (im hoping so as dont look to rusty) and is there any gaskets needed or does it bolt straight in to a flange ?????? and if i do need new bolts ,gaskets where can i buy them ???? or could i find a match down local scrappy??? thanks

 

there is a cone gasket(dougnut ring) with spring bolts that fix the centre pipe to downpipe,should be reuseable.
the centre section to backbox is just a bolted flange joint,which may require a new gasket and bolts depending on condition.a bit of gasket sealant normally works.

what system did you buy?

 

i havent yet mate but im geussing a 2 and half inch threw to a 3 inch tail pipe is what im looking for !! im getting one one way or the other this week as been offered one on here too.....why do you ask mate will a system that size not fit correctly??
