does a my99/00 bumper fit straight onto a my98? spoke to subaru they reckon it dosen't!!! urgent reply required please

 

Yes - a 99MY bumper fits onto a 98MY car - i had it done recently.
Its 95% a straight swap....
It required drilling a couple of holes as a couple of the 99MY fixings dont line up.
Also the piping that feeds the brakes with air needed some tweaking but nothing major.
A competant bodyshop will make it fit no problem.
