Default Speaker question

I finally tracked down why my parrot was so quiet. My front speakers produce very little sound even when fader is forward. My parrot only sends sound tto the front so it hasn't worked either. I think the speakers might be nackered.

Is this a symptom of blown speakers?

Whats speakers fit the front with least modification?

Will I get away with a combined speaker (not sure if this is correct name) or do i need components.

Can anyone recommend a decent but cheapish head unit? I may replace that at the same time.

Cheers,

dan

"Parrot"? You've lost me and probably a few others.

My classic uses Sony 3-way 16.5 cm speakers on home made mdf spacers.

I've recently fitted an Alpine active under-seat sub too.

Parrot is a hands free kit.

You'll be fine with a coaxials. Especially if you survived this long without even noticing the front speakers are making much noise lol.
