Default White lines on a speed bump?

Hi all

Not for me but a friend has asked and I'm sure someone on here will know the answer, whats the rules on these, can you park, can you get fined, are they enforcable?

Cheers
Arron

Do you mean lines just on a bump or lines on the road which are carried on over the bump

If they`re part of the lines which are on the road then surely they are still enforceable.

I've asked a parking warden, They are part of the warnings for the bump and NOT a parking restriction.

Normally any warnings are like a triangle with the point facing the centre of the bump. Never heard of any speed bumps with actual lines on them. A photo would have been handy

most of the speed bumps round our way are tarmac and have lines down either side, thought it was the norm!

Similar to the those in the link below.

Just edge of carriageway markings, any parking restrictions are yellow or red.
