Default Import car insurance

Just wondering who people use to insure imports? Struggling to find a decent quote for the '97 Impreza STi wagon I've just got, really don't want to have to part with it as soon as I've got it but with the quotes I'm getting at the minute it's insane?!
I'm 24 but only have 1 years NCB (so nearly 2!!) as for 3 years I ran a 1953 beetle as my daily and the no claims from the classic car policy can't be used on a normal policy, and the years I had from before that have now expired

A Plan, or if you don't want to shop around (and go straight for the best*) then ring Keith Michaels and ask for Gary.

* in my opinion from personal experience.
